Bored at schoolIt is a good web proxy server. It is using the freeware phProxy script. Good customization options are provided for the surfer. No banners were there at the time of testing. Currently It seems that it does not support a secure proxy connection.Hide My A**This web site name includes a word which can not be used on our site. It too is based on a free php script. It is hosted on a fast server. No support for Secure Server Connection. Should be useful for slow net surfers.Sn33kThis strangely named web proxy server is quite useful for anonymous surfing. No advertising banners were there at the time of testing. The proxy server speed is average as i tested it. May be it is getting too many hits. Not many customization options are given. But still, it is quite a good proxy.V Tunnel ProxyOne of the newcomer web proxy. Has a huge graphics at the start up page which slows down page loading. As far as other features are concerned it stays at the same level. Nothing Special to mention.Proxy at ClawzReally one of the slowest proxy i have ever used. Several times, even the proxy main page did not open. Seems to be hosted on a slow server. You can try it yourself to see if it works/opens for you.Guardster freeOne of the best and professional web proxy. The speed is always seems to be constant. They offer free as well as well as paid web proxy. You have to agree for TOS to use the proxy. They display a banner on every page we surf thru their proxy.Liogr Free web proxyAnother free web proxy based on the popular phProxy php script. All options are avaialble for use and currently it seems they don't have any ads on it. Seems to be a bit fast server because my surfing test was fast. Overall, An Average proxy with no speciality.Proxy Wave free ProxyAgain a free phProxy based web proxy. But where it stands out is, in its speed. When you use them, they identify your country and seems to optimize their speed accordingly. When I tested it, the speed was very good. Apart from speed i found nothing special with them(currently no ads). Because they do identify our country, i dont know how anonymous it is.Anonymizer free.One of the oldest proxy. But not the best. When i tested it, it took almost 3 minutes to load yahoo main page. Un arguably one of the slowest. Actually they offer both paid and free surfing. Its listed here only for formality. Not recommended.The cloakEarlier this proxy used to be one of my favourite. But now even though they offer free proxy surfing, its limited and all POST requests are blocked. They too have PAID surfing which includes Secure proxy surfing.Proxy ModThis one too is based on phProxy, the free php proxy script. the speed seems to be bellow average. No special features i have noticed. This proxy is NOT recommended, because it tries installing a spyware on your pc while surfing.Torify ProxyWhen i tried it with yahoo, it produced "Error resolving server's IP address.". Probably some server problem. Could not judge how good it is. |
